Family camping

We spent our weekend camping at a State Park not too far from home. We were a part of a large group mostly folks that John works with and other friends thrown in. We all had a great time. There was fishing, riding bikes, relaxing, cooking, eating, and more of the same.  Unlike previous trips with this group, the weather was fantastic. People even wanted to go swimming! IN May! I was not one of the swimming people, but I did watch from the shade.

A (friends) baby's first photobomb!

We had planned long ago to bring the RV. Once we saw the weather forecast (80 degrees on Sat) I wondered if the RV would be too hot. Thankfully our site had lots of shady trees, so we were fine.  It was a different experience using the RV in warm weather. We used it as a glorified tent. It held our stuff and we slept in it. Cooking, eating, and doing dishes all happened outside.
