Flip

As we were enjoying the sun on Tuesday Odin learned how to do a back-flip on his trapeze. Or rather he waked over to it and did one then another and another.

He thought it was hilarious when he landed funny, especially if I was taking a video.

The important stuff

We ate very well on our trip. Including the last holdout of our wedding gift wine.

 It is hard to believe but very true, Johno and I have been married for ten years! We wanted to do something different for our tenth anniversary, not too hard seeing that we usually do a canoe trip on our anniversary and they often end up being very cold and rainy.
This year we headed to the beach, and spent a few wonderful sunny days playing in the sand, flying kites, and checking out tide pools. It was a great relaxing vacation, pretty close to home.

 

 

The part you didn't see is him jumping up and proclaiming "I'm fine"

The past two days I have worked on a tree swing/trapeze combo. The trampoline was totally his idea. Thankfully he was true to his word and did not get hurt.

The beauty of the swing is it can easily be changed to the trapeze or taken in for inclement weather (or mowing).

Blooms

The weather here has changed little since our arrival. It rains most days with frequent breaks, temps largely in the 50's. But it has been enough to bring out the blooms. Nearly everything is flowering right now. Here are a few from our yard.
