Summer Vacation (Part 2)

After two days at the ocean, we headed inland to the river. We met up with some friends and the whitewater club we belong to, and did a day trip on the Skagit river.

The whole trip was just what my summer had been missing. It is hard to believe that there are only two weeks until the end of August.

Summer Vacation (part 1)

We took a proper summer vacation last week. It was complete with a road trip, camping, ferry ride,bug bites, forgotten items, and some time on the water.

We headed out to the San Juans midweek and camped in a state park for two nights. The campground was on the sound, and also had a lake. It was a lovely start to a vacation. Plenty of space to explore, relax, unwind, nap, and play.

It was windy on the ferry.

Odin wanted to recreate a picture from two summers ago. His expressions cracks me up.
