Last stage of Montana Trip - a Wedding!

Mardell and Jon's wedding was the reason for our entire trip earlier this month. We had such a great time.
Here are a few of the highlights!

I did my hair for the wedding at like 9 am.

There were youtube videos involved.

This is well after 9pm! Still pretty tight, and I only used one bobby pin.

Yellowstone

After a beautiful night at Craters of the moon, we pushed onto to Montana. We camped on the edge of Hegben lake for two nights and during the day explored Yellowstone park. There was swimming, animal sightings, Geo-thermal feature viewing, hiking and  lots of roadside lunches.

Volcano Tour

Last week the Thielings were on vacation. Some great friends were getting married in Montana, so on the way out the the wedding we camped while looking and playing in neat and volcanic landscapes.
 
We drove to Boise the first day and stayed in a hotel. Then we went on to Craters of the Moon. I had been before in college with my family and also went back with a roommate. This time we stayed the night at the campground and saw much more of the park.

Camping at the coast

We went camping at the coast last weekend with a group of John's coworkers. We had a great weekend. There was rain, sun, great company, way too much food and the biggest tarp in the world. Along with some playtime at the beach, lighthouse, and riding bikes. What a good time.

Losing things

The first part of June has been an absolute blur. Since the beginning of the month Odin has lost something. . .
His first tooth! And he really did lose it. We were at a friend's house for dinner and he was having an ice cream bar after dinner, felt something hard in his mouth, and threw it into the bushes. On the way home he wrote a note to the tooth fairy so she would know what had happened.

 The note worked!

The other front bottom tooth is now loose. I wonder when it will get thrown into a bush.

Slipping into Summer

The past three weeks have just flown by. Grandma and Grandpa came and went.

We did a little rafting, Grandma and Grandpa camped with us and spent the day with Odin.

I went on a School field trip to the zoo.
